These coasters were created for Black Bottle's various brand activations throughout the country. The entire idea for the brand at these activations was to not focus on the intrinsic properties of the brand. Instead we wanted to make the ubiquitous bottle the centre of our communication. 

A few whiskies have black as their associated colour, but the most famous Johnny Walker Black Label doesn’t take ownership of this colour as it is always making tacit reference to heritage and the range. Despite their name, they do not own black, but Black Bottle can. This then formed the communication through out the coasters and overall look and feel.
