The Madiba Mindset by Tyrrel Fairhead is a book that aims to teach people how to apply Nelson Mandela's principles to their own lives. While researching the topic, I noted that nearly all the covers of books documenting Mandela's life are photography based. I thought that something illustrated would be a fresh, new take on such a widely covered individual. With such a recognisable face I was able to keep the design simple and let the illustration speak for itself.
